49ers’ Nick Bosa Seems To Unveil New Trump Tribute, And President-Elect Approves

Bosa, who was fined last week for wearing a MAGA hat to interrupt a teammate’s interview, seemed to continue his open embrace of the authoritarian Republican. After he tackled Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield for a big loss in San Francisco’s 23-20 victory, he briefly pumped his arms forward and backward while shuffling in place. A few teammates joined in.

The celebration paid tribute to Trump’s widely memed signature dance at rallies, conservatives said.

Here’s Bosa sacking Mayfield and beginning the routine:

“In a world of Colin Kaepernicks, be a Nick Bosa,” Gaines wrote in a cringey take on the moment.

Bosa declared his Trump allegiance years ago and Trump praised him after he was drafted into the NFL. But the player’s hat stunt a short time before the 2024 election appeared to be one of his more public gestures in support of the former and now incoming president.
